I have picked up Sound Choice music. What rip software is best for transfering to HD and what is the best way to set up files in the HD directory?

Thanks

there is no "best" software, although some of us have found routines that work very well.

Check out the Tech Forum, and see what people there are talking about. There are many threads dedicated to software, hardware, etc.

I have tried dozens of diffrent programs and the best one i have found is Audiograbber and heres why.

Other ripping software - You wont get track info unless you're hooked to the net.
Audiograbber - Download the windows version of FreeDB's cddb and points audio grabber at it, you'll get track info even off line. Plus audio grabber wille search cd-text, on line databases, local d-base, and it has a discs.txt that you can automatically save youre findings in. I used this software to rip my entire cd collection ( 2194 discs ) to an external harddrive, so instead of carrying crates of discs to a show i now carry 2 terrabyte harddrives lol. Alot easier this way. Good luck hope this helps.

Don't play ripped cdg's at shows. It's against R.I.A.A.

I actaully think Tricerasoft is a good one too only b/c it ripped the mediacloq cdgs I had been trying to rip for months & months before.
