Karaoke Forums

NR, just new here. My name is Joe -- (GolfMax13) is just kinda what I do - I'm in the golf business.

Have been singing forever but the only Karaoke I've ever done was at our oldest daughters wedding reception. What a hoot. I'm her step-dad - and her real dad and I got up and sang a song together, - what a blast. We get along.

Married to a wonderful lady - two great kids - sing with a trio in church (hey, does that count as karaoke? They flash the words. ) It's a tough crowd in there except when communion Sunday rolls around - then they get a little looser.

Well, enough about me - what about you?

What brought you to KS if you don't sing karaoke? Was it Singer's Showcase?

Hi Babs and thanks! Yes, I Googled "online karaoke" a couple of days ago and I was taken straight to the Singers Showcase. I still don't quite understand how everything works, the SS, the Forum, The Mag, etc.

Oops, am I in the wrong place? Should I not post here?

Yes you can post here.

Singers showcase is really nice. There is a Singer's forum also, but you need to request to belong.  
People are very friendly and will be glad to answer any questions you have.
For technical questions use the tech forum, for your average questions use the discussion room, and for just goofing off go to the off Topic Forum.

Oh am I glad you said that. I wrote a reply in your note to me that we should think about a duet. Would love to.

BTW, I noticed your little grandchild is in Oklahoma. That's where I live. My daughter's middle name is Katie. A duet is probably in order.
