My employer told me that a certain young lady entered the esablishment yesterday and was representing a certain karaoke magazine in so. cal. She asked if they would like to advertise their club in the magazine. Then she asked how much they were paying me for my services. The next thing she tried was to UNDERCUT me by 150.00 dollars. This is not the first time nor will it be the last time but come on is this scraping the bottom or what. I have never missed a gig , been late for a gig or turned down a gig. i dont drink , do drugs , smoke or burn and undercut. I can sing anything and everything and a personality to match. I'm a single parent raising two daughters and have a great support system. Whew now I feel better. Thank you karaoke scene for letting me vent ................

That was a bit rude. They must know it would get back to the magazine.
Previous discussions here have blasted undercutters. It seems if I was selling ad space, it would not be a good thing to offer my KJ services at the same time.
I'm sure this person skipped the ethics class in high school.

I'm thinking that the magazine thing was just a ruse to get the club owner to talk.

I'm also thinking that if what metalgod is saying is true (and I know he can sing--I've checked him out in the singers showcase) the club owner laughed his (@$%&#!) off and showed her the door!
