I am using this Mackie and love it. It is sooo much better than the mixing amp I had been using- the Audio2000s AKJ7075.

My question is this, which effect do you use for the majority of singers? I've played with most of them, and I really haven't been that happy with any for reverb/echo effects.

Any suggestions?

pot the effects switch in the 7:00 o'clock position, then agdust the parameters and watch the diff.

Be sure to turn off the music to the effects, and only turn up the mic's effects as much as needed (aux 2 controll)

No correct setting. Some like different types of sounds. I personally use a med plate setting for the general singers. I have external effects I run as well for delay & other reverbs or different effects.

I understand there is no 1 absolute setting. I believe in making small adjustments for each singer, but I was just wondering if there was an effect that was just like pure reverb.

Does that make any sense?

the big thing is once you set it on any setting, to adjust with the FX sliders!! More up means more FX... also, each individual channel per mic needs to be adjusted accordingly!

Everything on the left side from Reversal to Spring are all forms of reverb. There are different types of reverb.

As other posts may have indicated.. I'm a fan of "Outboard" effect units.. but if I didn't have a choice of which console I personally I like the room/short delay settings but of course that changes depending on the song..
