Flipper do you use your L1 on your Monday night gig? I've been meaning to check out your show anyway and that would give me a bit of a push to make the trip.

After 5 years of Mondays there, we have moved to Thursdays. The owner is buying into the NFL Cable packages for the fall and wants to promote it on Mondays and not lose his karaoke crowd so we are making the change now. Thursdays are now the night......and yes I use the Bose there. I only use one bass bin there as 2 would be an overkill. Of course you are welcome anytime show starts @ 9:30pm in the summer months. I will PM you with the weblink.

I have heard Bose systems sound very good. But i think it has to do with the balance and eq of the entire system. A bit of cash for the system. But i think if you can hit on that eq "Sweet Spot", and know the volume limitations of the L!, i think it can be a very nice system...at least the ones i heard were, never owned one.

As I've noted in a previous thread, the Karaoke club I belong to replaced their system (which had Yamaha speakers) with the Bose.  I've been there 2 or 3 times since and have no major criticism of the Bose.  I did note that when I was there last, the new KJ had some bad settings (which I got him to change). The room is narrow and not very long and the new sound is different from the old, but I haven't finalized in my mind which system I prefer; I'm leaning towards the new "sound".  Meanwhile, I've experience much worse sound elsewhere!

I'd like to know where in south Fl is another Bose system being regulary used; I'd like to go hear it.

I've come to the conlcusion, as has DBK1009 - It's the operator.

I can't speak to regularly, but there was one this Sunday in a weekly gig at "Little Hoolie's" in Miami.
