I usually don't have any issues with DK. Most of the tracks are pretty good. StarDisc flat out sucks. Even though they're the only ones that have certain songs, I've gotten rid of the vast majority of them, because they're just so bad. PHM vs. TH? It's PHM for the win.

Dk is the only brand I double in my song book. I do this for new swingers that might need a little help in singing the song and can use the little flute lead as a crutch. I do wish there was some way to remove that flute. The dk recordings are first rate. I think of DK a fallen angel. Good set at a good price.

That's just it. My main problem with DK isn't the quality of the overall music arrangements, it's that silly little flute or piano vocal guide that's annoying. I doubt most singers would want that in there if they had a choice. SD is at times OK, but often pretty mediocre. But they like Sunfly and Zoom carry some harder to find songs.

What pan flute are you all talking about? I've sung DK but never noticed this!! Now I've got to go out and sing a DK song and see what the fuss is about!

some are VERY noticable, where others aren't as noticable.

It's not noticeable if you sing the melody spot on. If you don't, then you can hear it.

RECEIVED my 1st 2 discs from PHM in an mp3+g disc.

They sure make it simple to just COPY to HD..no more ripping etc.

I did have to RENAME the files using KJ File Manager to match my A-T-D format I use.

I was able to change and ZIP them up ---- very simple for those DIGITAL KJ'S
