As some of you know I use Audix om-2 mics. I thought I'd pick up a couple extra just in case there's an accident. I put a few low bids in on ebay and before I knew it I was a proud owner of 3 more mics. I never dreamed I'd end up with 3 more mics. My bids were only at $35.

Auctionstealer is the way to go. If you have never used it before. It snipes an ebay bid 10 seconds before the bid is over for free. I thought I'd share my little secret.

I've never tried a sniping tool. I thought they all cost money. Thanks for the tip Babs and congrats on your purchase.

Ah ha...so you are one of those people that always 'steal' my autions at the last possible second. I knew there had to be some kind program that done it, I don't have time to watch them all the time. Some time you can get really good deals on Ebay, but you have to becareful...there is lots of junk and scammers. Thanks for the tip and good luck with your new mics! MrD

I use auctionsniper.com and I've never been charged more than .25c. I almost never lose an auction . I wanted to warn people though, eBay has caught on to these sites and, I don't know about for other sites, but for my site there is a trick to using it. eBay no longer allows me to "snipe" if I've never placed a bid on the item at all. So that means, in order to "snipe" I place a bid on the item and then setup my snipe. It doesn't matter if my bid is only the next amount up and it is immediately outbid, and if no one else bids you won't bid again.

Glad you got your mics so reasonable. I would snipe auctions when buying old model car kits. (That's my other hobby, hint hint) I never used a program, just sat at the PC and waited for the last minute. I had to time it right on certain things. I usually tried the auctions that ended on weekends during the summer when a lot of people were away from their PC. Or early morning, too.
