I was just being silly and over exaggerating !!!

The Yamaha suggested is around the same price and does have compression BUT is only 8 channels and does not have other features the Behringer offers.
When comparing features to features the Behringers will ALWAYS be cheaper than the Yamaha or Mackie's.

Dependability is always the arguing point when talking about Behringer products .
If money is no object I think I've always suggested to go Yamaha Mackie Peavey over Behringer …
But some people who ask for advice seem to be on a tight budget or are using the products for home applications.
This is a great application for Behringer products …many PRO KJ's and musicians do us Behringer without any problems.
It seems just because people had a channel go out on the only Behringer product they ever owned they are the 1st to BASH and discount what other suggest.

Not necessarily you Lon !!

Sure I do. I guess I am the most unlucky guy when it comes to Behringer. Never owned or used one that worked properly & IMO they are not a clean sounding board. I'll take a good clean sounding board over a feature packed so so sounding board any day.
