Finished my 1st show at the "NEW" gig this Saturday. There was no regular karaoke crowd there ? Could be OFF night or the fact that they knew the week prior there was no karaoke ?..don't know . The owner seemed HAPPY with the sound. As he put it ...LOUD but not too loud as he could still hear himself talk at the far side of the bar. Set up was strange as I was on two high top tables with my TV monitor set up right to my right , one speaker on a stand to my left and a speaker on the floor in front of the setup....seemed to work ? In between played a mix of everything which seemed to work. Had a few singers come in from my mailing list which was good and we had few singers come and go. All in all not a BAD initial night.
Did get a private party gig from the owner which was good. So we will see what the future holds..... hopefully the Karaoke crowd comes back

The regular singers are either boycotting out of loyalty to the previous guy or were never there to begin with. Maybe a little of both.

It sounds like it went smoothly. It will be interesting to see what happens if you start getting a karaoke crowd. Keep us informed.
