Hello I have a toshiba satelliet M35X running xp and i wanna do a dual monitor to a tv set. I have a kworld kw-sa235 pc to tv converter already to run the tv, ( i wanna run the tv instead of a puter monitor so we can use our cavs player and amp at our show's and the laptop 2) It also will be less equipment to haul around and the tv set is cheep to replace if it's damaged. I did manage to get the desktop image to come up on the tv set but at this time that's all i managed to figure out. I'm hoping to broadcast only the singing picture to the tv and still have the full screen of the player on the laptop screen, so you can get the next player set up to go. Any ideas if this can be done? Tks Scott

I am having difficulty understanding you, but if you just mean the normal dual-screen karaoke setup with operator on the laptop and singer on a TV, it comes as a feature of most laptops.

Your Toshiba has an SVideo out. Connect that into the TV. Then do Ctrl-Alt-F12, and select "Extended Desktop" with primary display being Notebook and secondary being Television. That should be all you need, along with telling your karaoke software to use the second screen (some would do that automatically, others you need to double-click on it or drag it or change some config).
