Hi everyone!
I've been reading alot of postings on this forum over the last few weeks. I'm sure that there is enough knowledge on this site to help me with my problem.
I'm starting up a new Karaoke business and need to know some opinions on how to route everything I have to get the best result from my equipment.
I have a laptop with Windows XP with Compuhost installed., CAVS 203G Player with external hard drive, Mackie Pro FX 12 Mixing Board and JBL 15G2 Speakers with flat screen HDTV.
For best results, which way would you route everything so I can use laptop to run the show, but still use the CAVS so I can play SCDG's from external hard drive through Mackie Mixer?
All suggestions welcome.
Thanks.

All you need is a small video switch.

Just don't put the audio on the switch. The audio goes to your mixer.

With Compuhost, if you have a video capture device, you can do the switching from within Compuhost.
www.kjamp.com and CDGFIX (unsure of the website, maybe Swooop can help here)both have conveters for SCDG discs.
