Sorry i should of defined it better, rip the cd+g to a zip file to save it on a hard drive. Karafun player does a good job of playing these zip files on a computer. Then i'll need a way to burn the zip files to a cd. I already bought a 400 gig hard drive full of zip'd karaoke cd+g on it and i'd like to copy some of these zip files as well to a cd. Tks Scott

Wow!!! You must have gotten a great deal on that hard drive! How much did you pay and where can I get one? 400 GB must be close to 100,000 songs. You'll have one of the biggest selections of any KJ in your area. You should be able to steal a bunch of shows in "know" time at all. Please let us "NO" where your shows are so we can all come and visit when we're in the area?

Face-plant an omelette did you Bruce?
Guess you never heard the old Chinese proverb: "One who makes facetious and sarcastic remarks about another's vocabulary ends up with egg on face when his own sentence structure is flawed".

Yeah, and when you get ahead of yourself, I just get beside myself!

Glad to help you get a chuckle. I'm more than happy to admit that I make the occasional mistake. I'm a terrible typist and I sometimes hit the submit button before proof reading my comments. The difference is that I enjoy when people point out my typos so I can fix them. I try to learn from my mistakes. I tend to type "teh" for THE all of the time so don't be surprised if you catch that one every now and again but I don't think you'll ever see me type out the phrase: "in do time" any time soon.
Don't hate me because I can sing & spell. ;c)

Although it's not clearly stated on here that I can immediately find, this site is ran by online retailers through an agreement by Karaoke Scene. If you want the specifics, pm WEBGURU and he'll tell you the specifics.
Illegal activity that would harm the karaoke manufacturers and retailers is NOT condoned. This means the promotion of ebay or craigslist or any other kind of similar nature where a hard drive contains copyrighted materials.
We don't give technical support to those that are hurting our livlihoods.
Hence the word "interesting" on your admission of pirated goods.

Have you ever heard of the crime of "receiving stolen goods"? So sorry, I am afraid you are an offender.

Hello,
I know you said you had everything you needed to rip and create SCDGs from CAVS, but I the best solution that I use for ripping SCDGs to a drive (your choice, either compressed or not), is the KJAMP Karaoke File Converter. It works perfectly to rip SCDGs to a hard drive. I use it for my entire collection. You can find a trial version and more here: http://www.kjamp.com/

Dear slingslingbinks,
Possesion is 9/10ths of the LAW.
I chose to say, "interesting...!" because I don't want to Lock Horns with anybody!

Lonman said it best in another thread. He was offered the sale of a hard drive with the tracks. He said, "sure, if the cdgs come WITH it"... and he said he never heard from the guy again!
