Hello

I have my own karaoke system. It is a Pioneer PD-V10G. It has no recording capability and no hook-up in the back for any other equiptment. Without getting technical on me, can someone tell me what kind of equiptment I would need to record my own songs to a cd. I have looked into the dual deck cd recorders but I'm not sure they can do what I want to do. I'm not talking about getting mixers or anthing like that. I just want a system that I can use to sing and make my own singing cd's for family and friends. If this can be done, can someone suggest a brand name cd recorder? I would appreciate any and all help. Thank You, Karaokepete

Sorry, you need a mixer! Or you need to buy one of them all in one units that have a cassette recorder built in (haven't seen one with a cd burner yet) - but a mixer would give better results & be cheaper. Then you just plug a recorder to the "tape out" on the mixer.

I have a Phillips CD recorder that works just fine for this.

I'm assuming that you are using your karaoke machine by plugging the mics right into the front of the machine? If this is the case, you can just run the signal right into the recorder and go to town!
