New to the site. Have been dj/kjing for several years and it was starting to lose it's luster for me. Don't sing much anymore, but have been wanting to get into recording again. One of your (our) members steered me to this site on an equipment question, and boy am I glad he did. I'm completely renewed and loving listening to you all. I have no idea how to record or sub yet, but I'm sure I can find out here. Last time I recorded was on a Tascam portastudio, and the media was cassette tape for those who remember.
I'm not near the caliber of many I'm hearing hear, but at least people don't usually run when I sing. So look for some questions, and subs in the near future.
Happened on MySpace Karaoke today, and dowloaded their recorder, but wasn't impressed. Sent my mic out from my mixer back into the computer with their music, and it creates a nasty delay. So I will try and find a different avenue.

Welcome to the site. A lot of us have been here 4-5 years, so what does that tell ya? It's a pretty cool place, once you learn to weed through stuff. (you'll end up ignoring some people... stalking others... Like we all do)
