Hey again!

We have S&D up and running. We used CDGrip for our songs. Everything is coming together nicely, except for the S-Video issue.

We are running an S-Video cable from the laptop to the TV. When we turn on the TV, we see EVERYTHING that we see on the laptop screen. How can we fix it, so that just the Lyric screen shows up????

Thank you,

Christopher

you have to have your screen settings on "Extended Desktop".

Go to your desktop settings and you should see two terminals.

#1 and #2.

1 is the default, and 2 is where you drag your cdg window to.

Again, this is those things you should well test out before taking a computer to a gig!

when you start a mp3 with a cdg, it should have a window that pops up. Click and drag this to the 2nd monitor setting. You won't see both on your desktop screen, but the TV should be your 2nd. Click and drag it over.

You should only see an extension of your desktop (with no icons present) on your second monitor-just the desktop background.

If you are seeing an exact copy of your desktop on the second monitor then your video card settings are cloning your desktop instead of extending your desktop.
The settings would then need to be changed to extended desktop.

I just googled "how do I extend my desktop"... and it was like third or fourth down on the list!

I knew someone SOMEWHERE had to have some pictures on how to do it! :P
