Does that make any sense? :dontknow:

Basically what I'm asking is, can I connect my pc with some sort of stereo tuner to create a more ambient sound while using my pc for recording karaoke?

I have seen the amplified pc speakers with a separate bass enclosure, but didn't hear it connected to a pc. Would that be worth a few dollars to try?

I don't want to experiment and ruin my pc.

Is what I'm asking even possible?

Thanks in advance for any bit of info on this........Perry

You can connect your computer via the line out to any amp. That's what all the computer karaoke hosts do now, connect the computer to the mixer to the PA system.
If you want to connect it to your stereo you just need the right cable to connect from the sound card to your stereo inputs.

Something like this should do the trick, but you will probably need one with either longer RCA cables, or else attach it to longer RCA cables to make it long enough to reach your stereo

You simply plug the 1/8" plug into your headphone jack our line-out jack on the PC.

just to repeat - you need to connect your HEADPHONE out jack on your PC to an input on an amplified source ( stereo or mixer amp combo) and of course you will need some SPEAKERS.

If it's a PC then it should have a line out, usually green ring on the sound card. Laptops will usually only have the headphone out.

COOL! 8) I appreciate that quick response! :biggrinthumb:

I have alot of pitch issues trying to sing just listening through my tiny pc speakers, but I can't sing with headphones on either. Or maybe, I just can't sing period? :newlol:

I've also noticed that maybe my hearing isn't what it should be nowadays. Could be a number of factors since I'm getting older. I seem to have sinusitis alot also.

It's a shame I wasted so much time when I could've been jamming down in my little computer room.

Karaoke seems much more enjoyable to me when I have a room full of sound.

I'll get right on that! Maybe it'll change my attitude a little too? I'm getting kinda bored with it all.

Thanks everyone! :handshake:
