My name is Skid Rowe, and I'm from Raleigh, NC. Kinda new posting here, but I've been lurking for a couple of years now. I'm one the last holdouts from the old JOLT days. I've been doing karaoke shows in the Raleigh area for almost twenty years now. I started in 1990. (How can I be a newbie if I've been doing shows for twenty years)?

Anyhoo, about four years ago, my heart gave out while doing a show, I collapsed on stage, and I was rushed to the hospital. Soon after that, I was given a total heart transplant. Today I am a 62 year old man with a 20 something female heart. (Talk about an identity crisis).

At 62 I'm still lugging equipment around doing shows, but I've scaled down quite a bit from before. The lighter, the better. With twenty years of disks accumulated, I finally switched over to computer, and like it wayyy better.

Ah, look at the time, I'm getting way to talkative. (Must be the woman in me). I just wanted to give a quick idea of who I am, and where I come from. Now, excuse me while I go to the mall and buy a new pair if shoes.

Welcome to the forum, I've always been told that a man should be able to keep in touch with his feminine side. I guess you just take it literally.

Hi Skid! I remember you from Jolt! You came to the summit in Richmond, Virginia, didn't you? Was that in 2003? Those Jolt summits were always lots of fun.
