I got an email yesterday from Karaoke International, which is actually Express karaoke.. listing the new Chartbuster releases for May 2009. I normally purchase the pop and country discs, and have never purchased a "custom" disc from this company before. I recall reading on this forum a few months back that Sugarland would no longer be available on cdg. A lot of my female singers love Sugarland and have asked me for "It Happens" which it their latest hit right now.

The song is not listed on any of the new discs for May, but it IS listed as a "custom" song to purchase on a custom disc, but by Jennifer Nettles & Kristian Bush, which is Sugarland. I wrote to Express Karaoke to ask them who manufactures the version of the song, and have not received a reply. I am wondering if anyone knows if this is a quality version?

Just an FYI. I just checked and Buykaraokedownloads has the track. You can listen to the first 30 seconds of it. But as usual with this site no mfr. info.

It's their normal price for new stuff - $1.99.

I'm not sure I understand this Sugarland thing. There seems to be plenty around on karaoke discs and download sites.

There has not been any new karaoke releases by them in a long time. I just contacted Chartbuster and they told me that they have not released the song, but the email from expressKaraoke makes one think, by its wording of the New May Chartbuster releases, that the song is from CB. But as I said, it is not on either of the country discs for May, so I was just wondering what manu Express Karaoke uses for the "custom" songs they create, and if they are ok.
