At a local club here in Hollwierd, stars of all levels show up weekly.. (Really)
They wait their turn, just like the po folks..
The only difference is the pix on the wall.. My pic is not up there.
Now the club in the valley, has all of the pr0n stars show up there weekly.
The KJ allows them to carry the night.. (Not sure how they tip him)

Just strange that it's almost the exact same pose as in your aviator.

Do you get pics with them? Create your own photo book that you could bring with you!

Actually, I did take many of the photos.. Never leave home without the camera..
I spent the evening with Ron Perlman one Saturday.. and his entourage..
Nasty gals hangin' with the boy.. Forced me to dance, and did the grind..
I was in Heaven..

Man, old school reference. More modern reference should be, did he take his red paint off his body?

That's incredible! I'd let Astley sing all night. Not that he'd want to, but how exciting that he walked into your bar.
As for this blogger schmuck, you'd probably be happy to lose his business.

In the UK Rick Astley had more than just the one hit......trouble was it was manufactured Pop (Stock Aitken and waterman) he was contracted to sing....unfortunate as the Guy can really sing(check out his swing covers on Youtube)... Gained Kudos though by just walking away from the music scene while still at the height of popularity.
If he walked into my show he could sing two in a row!! Most famous person at my show was one half of One Hit Wonders Sweet Female Attitude...(OK their hit was only in the UK)

For sure. A free show and closer to him than you would ever be at a concert.

Well thanks for the input, and basically my feelings on the matter was that it was about 12:30 and I was not sure he would wait for his next turn about 45min-1 hour away.
Someone else put in a request for him to sing his song, but he had put in another request to sing an AC/DC song. (He had previously sung New York New York, Sinatra). When he got up to sing I asked him which song he wanted to sing, a oprtunity I give to all people who have two or more songs on call, he said AC DC first. Since he appeared to be willing to sing his song after that one, I went with it and gave him the next song.
I would have kicked myself If I had missed the opportunity and he decided to go home before his next turn to hear him sing his hit. It turned out he stayed around the bar for at least a half hour past closing time (2:30), and he sang a several other songs as duets, most encouraged, but one was less than 100% welcome. ( I work on the system 1-name 1 turn, duets count for one person's name/turn.)
He was a good sport about the whole thing, and even commented, "well usually I get paid 10,000 to do this...."

That would almost be like a Circle of Life.
Wasn't that how the New singer of Journey got his start, karaoke on Youtube.

The band saw him on YouTube but he had been in the business for a very long time. Not karaoke.
