Looking for a BASIC no frills program to play mp3+g files.
Only thing I need is the ability to create a playlists and have the songs play automatically one after another in the playlist. No rotation mgt etc etc.
Just looking for an INEXPENISVE solution for personal use.
I'm not familiar with WINAMP or others that may be able to fit the bill ?

Winamp will work fine. Of course you need the CD+G plugin for MP3+G files, and if you do key changes you will want Pacemaker.

Karafun is a terrific program that will play songs one after another in a playlist and it will save your key changes and tempo changes too. It's very simple to operate. There is no fading from song to song and no background music. You might want to give it a look. It's stable under Vista too.

but karafun has a bug... at least the version I had did.
A few of my files would stop playing before the end... in some cases a few seconds before the end. Pretty annoying when there's someone singing and PFFFTT!
What operating system are you using Jam? I didn't like the 5.551 I loaded. For some reason, when I bring it up, it doesn't have the player when I pull it up initially. Just the queue, cdg window, pacemaker... I actually have to pull up winamp AGAIN. A minor issue, but man, I never had any problems with the 2.81x versoin I always used.

Karafun is no problem on my XP. It works. It's free. It looks cool. Sometimes I wonder if I should give it a spin on the job but haven't.

yes it does go to file types and make sure zip is highlighted. also under input plugins make sure you have in_zip [in_zip.dll]
are you running autokdj or just winamp?
