At my day job, we use those Brother 2040's all the time, very heavy use. Mine alone has printed almost 60,000 pages in the 3 years I have been in the office. That's a lot of printing! Since it's not fast enough for some of our other printing needs, our office is leasing a Sharp industrial printer, and it rocks the free world!
Prints at about 80 pages per minute, prints both sides, and each toner will print 30,000+ pages at about 94 dollar cost. But who has the space and money for one of those bad boy??? I wish I did! It only prints in black, but does so much more than just printing. Dunno all the details about it, but I used it for my last printing of books, I just had to provide the paper and do it on my own time. It only took me 4 hours to print 12 books, totaling about 6000 pages. So that is what I did the last time, and probably will do it again when it's time. But still would like to find something for home use.

Ripman, to answer your question, I always inserted mine in page protectors, and then in a three ring binder. I AM tinkering around a bit with an idea for the spiral, though.
Good thing to bring up about this discussion!

Rip: If you want to print out of Fast Track Pro simply get and install a PDF printer on your system. I use Primo PDF ( http://www.primopdf.com/) and simply print to a PDF file, carry it into the print shop and have them do all the work. Install the utility, select Primo PDF as the printer and it walks you through saving a PDF file for you to bring on a thumb drive. Works like a champ and I use it for anything that goes to the shop.

Hehe, kinda. I just wanted to give him a link to something that I use for exactly the same purpose with exactly the same software he is.
