Currently doing the local bowling alley Fri and Sat nights. The sad part about that is they do not allow anyone under 21 after 9pm in the bar. It really is hurting their business on the whole. Mom and dad who want to stay and have a few drinks and sing cannot because there children aren't old enough. We reccommended that they at least let 18-20 year olds in with a "wrist-band" after 10pm but the bar manager is too caught up in under-age drinking which could be a problem if not handled correctly.

Our bowling alley has Krapaoke on Friday nights. I never go there other than a contest one night so I don't know how it works out. I do know they have a great stage and dance floor set up.

Gemini I hope you check in after awhile with a list of the most common songs this age group sings. This is a group that has interested several of us in the forum but as far as I know none of us cater a show to them on a regular basis.

Good luck! :D

Never once had a Hanna Montana or even Miley Cyrus for that matter, but for a bowling alley gig, i'd most likely pick some up.
I had a friend who did a rockaraoke n bowl that was pretty successful. He got permission & mounted 10 15" 2 way cabs at the end of the lane pointing back toward the bowler & a dual 18" sub in each end of the lane aiming toward a middle point - 1 on lane 1 & 1 on lane 36. He did have to rent the amps, but pushed approx 10,000 watts & tell you this sounded killer.

Hope that works for you. You are charting unknown territory as far as the music they might want. They will never cease to amaze. One night they will do the current pop pics and the following week, they will want oldies as in 50s and 60s.
