I have a question too.

Why do most people think an opposing view or opinion has to come from a Troll? Can a person have a discussion or offer a difference of opinion without being instantly considered a troublemaker? Why is everyone so testy and easily upset?

I have never in person considered someone having a converstation, debate, discussion or even an outright argument a troll. People do have different opinions and points of view based on their experiences or backgrounds. Some views may be stronger than others. There are real hot button issues for people from topic to topic.

Sometimes strong emotions are involved. Doesn't mean every different one came from a troll.

Signed not a troll...

There are spammers and there are trolls. A pure spammer joins a forum with the purpose of putting a link to their web site to sell or promote their promote their product. A hacker provides a link to a web site with hidden language to gain access to files on your computer. They sometimes zip hacking language into a jpg or photo when viewed it does its thing.

A troll gets their jollies from posting in forums and invoking and tormenting to evoke arguments negative responses and control which they cant do in real life. Their life is the internet and they live in fantatsies. Spammers engage in troll tecqniques to get a big controversy going to provide exposure to their promotion and niches on the search engines. They highjack threads and turn the topic back into their cause. They also start several threads and bombard the forum or blog with propaganda and very emotionally argue their cause or beliefs.

A popular forum like this one is desired because google is crawling it on a regular basis A post on here shows up in the search engine in minutes.
