I even pulled out my back-up copies that were burned when the disc was new and same thing. They play fine but having trioble ripping into compuhost. Any Tips?

We had this same problem with cerain TT and some All Star disks as well. Tried a coule different ripping utilities. Finally bought microstudio for these and problem solved. Its a good utility for ripping any disks that are scratched or have artifacts on playback. Because we did not b uy whole suite we rip with microstudio and then burn back to blank cd in cdg format. Compuhost will then rip. Although now the MTU Songverter program will convert kma to zip files without re ripping. There may be other otions but this saved us when we first converted out library seveal years ago.

Had the same problem with my 6 Top Tunes discs... I seemed it would take forever for the discs to rip.

I just set the drive I use for ripping to the MAX setting from the usual 4X speed I rip at, problem solved.

Hope this helps....

:D

How about paying just a teeny weeny bit more and buying PowerCDG Burner for around $30.

Rips everything AND one button back burn to discs- best I've ever seen...

Here's what you do buy a loaded Hard Drive with 40,0000 songs for $150 :D
But just COPY the MP3+g files you have the discs for
This saves you time from ripping anything else and since you're only using the files you have a disc for you're not a pirate

I took your advice on the 4x speed and it worked with a couple of disc's that didn't write the first time and it worked great. I have re-ripped a top tune disc yet but I am confident it will work, Thanks.
