These are common to the room and not mine personally although I can do most of them:

California Love - 2Pac / Dr Dre (use SF not SC)
Baby Got Back - Sir Mix-A-Lot
Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice (amazing given the age group of my room but true)
Without Me - Eminem
My Humps or Boom Boom Pow - BEP (I just had to squeeze two in the last slot) ;)

Al raps. All guaranteed to fill the dance floor in my room like no mere "song" does on a consistent basis. I also tried to stay with the most well known and conservative choices given what vtrod put up for parameters.

I get those sung also. I find my most popular songs usually have something to do with the person singing them as much as the selection. A popular regular that sings well and gets the crowd going will attract a lot more attention than a newbie who sings poorly doing a good song.

This is a very true statement Babs. And I had to take that into consideration. When it came to my list I had to think a bit. What always works - no matter what the situation is, no matter what time of night it is, and no matter who is doing the song? And not only that but I had to make sure that the selections were fairly well known.

As I said I had to think a bit.

John I get many from your list done too - especially Angel, Nuthin But A G Thang, Regulate, Right Round, and Blame It.

Thankfully Bill this is only at my 1st show....my other show is geared towards an OLDER crowd like me( 40+) and this gives me a much needed break from too much hip hop.
The second show is a lot of classic country and love songs...and the crowds are a bit tamed. I work 3 nights with young kids and 2 nights with moldy oldies.

I AM lucky and i know it. I get the BEST of both worlds and it's FUN FUN FUN! :D
