Karaoke Forums

Of where you are when you post maybe? I find that there seem to be tendencies from region to region, coast to coast, etc., and I'm always curious about what may be special or hot or whatever on the other coast. No need to state precise town but maybe south, or east coast, or midwest, or west cost, etc. Curious minds want to know!

Sometimes from at home and sometimes when travelling for day job and stuck with nothing but computer/reading at night. Both locations inland West Coastish. Often check in at lunch hour or before work also.

Sometimes it doesn't say - and I don't mean now, I mean when you post a thought provoking post - it's interesting to me to see how different our shows/venues, etc., can be based on region.

Location also give some amount of credibility to the post and the poster.

Difficult one for me.
I tend to think outside of the box.
I smile to myself often and anytime.
Sometimes that happens while I am on this forum.
There are many times I would like to reply to a post and refrain.
My humour (I come from Liverpool) can be an acquired taste.
Of that I am all too aware.

Sometimes I would like to say exactly where I am and give more details of what is going on in our area. But I wouldn't want to post something strange about our venue and have some of the singers read it. So I go back and forth between witholding details and probably posting too much.

I can't claim an anonymous location. As for my thoughts, I always get my best inspiration when driving in my car. If I think of something that I think is really worth remembering, I'll try and write it down then and there.

Okay, let me reiterate - not asking for exact location but rather "region" if that is a better way to say it... I'm not interested in going to follow up on posts but rather get a grasp of how karaoke is different everywhere, and it seems it is based on this forum. Surprises me sometimes. Of course, if you don't feel like you want anyone to know what area of the country you're in, that's your prerogative. I only ask for comparison reasons.

I think I've mentioned it a few times, but I'm in Wisconsin.

Chicagoland area. Post at lunch time and quiting time on the weekdays. Yes it's a work thing.

Home, and only home. I'm about as far east in the "west of the Mississippi" region as you can get. QC area 3.5 hours west of downtown Chi Town.
