But starting *new* threads to try and get more impact, instead of contributing to an ongoing one, is spam. You are trying to paper the forum to raise awareness.
I suggest you should have started one piracy thread, and kept it going. No one could have a problem with that, and it would stay in the main forum. When you try to blast it everywhere, people are going to push back. Because you are hijacking the forum for your topic.
Only 3 threads were initially moved to the KJ forum and they had 20-75 posts regarding the issue, meaning they were targeted to and heavily commented on topics. Each of these delt with different aspects of the issue. Now with highly posted threads, topics can drift and it is sometimes needed to re-direct the topic with a new thread.
Since the policy changed 2 more threads were moved to the forum after 0-1 responses.
Not exactly a "massive spam" of multiple threads you seem to imply is happening.
You are looking after the fact. At one point Mr. Dangrus and friends had half of the topics going on the forum. The pushback started after they did that, and by the time it all coalesced there were three or four threads left. At one point they had the majority of active threads going.
The straw that broke the back, I think, was someone posting a new topic "How do you like the materials from KIAA". It was the third active "KIAA" thread. No one here had evinced any real interested at all in KIAA, and so that type of thing is a blatant attempt to raise the visibility of that organization. It is hijacking the forum to attempt to move it's focus. A similar thing happened to the JOLT forum, and that forum degenerated into constant piracy sniping. Eventually piracy sniping was the only thing there, and finally the forum died.
