Hey all,
I like to karaoke in bars, but would like to set up a simple home system. Is there a way for me to convert my old macintosh emac, running OSx, into a karaoke machine that I can connect to my home stereo and tv?

I think you are out of luck on that. The biggest problem I see with the emacs is that there were no external monitor option, which you need to make it work. You can use the screen of the emac as the singer screen but it's way too small. Also, I don't know which version of OS X you can run on emac but I believe most of the software will only support leopard and snow leopard.
