There is no real way to link them as such. About the only thing I can think of that would get you close is you could take the 1/4" main out from one and run it to the stereo input channel of the next. However you'd still have separate aux and FX sends on each board and the subgroups would be separate as well.

Not sure if that question was intended for me or the OP but since I can't shut myself up, I'll offer my opinions. I used the CFX-12 for a number of years and was pretty happy with it. All the controls have a good solid feel to them. The 4 AUX/EFX sends are very useful and being able to feed both EFX sends along with the internal unit was helpful for me. The EFX unit itself is pretty nice too, a good selection and the reverbs and delay sound pretty nice in most rooms.

The negatives I encountered were: 1. When soloing a channel, there is no light on the individual channel to indicate that it is being solo'ed. There's a LED that flashes near the meters but nothing to help you locate which channel(s) you're watching. 2. There's no ability to assign a channel directly to the Main Mix, everything has to be assigned to one or both of the pairs of sub groups. 3. There's no light to indicate when a channel has been muted, just as with the solo button the only way to tell a channel is muted is to look at or feel the button to see if it's up or down. 4. It is still a relatively inexpensive Mackie board so the pre-amps could sound better and the controls could be a little more consistent, but none of that is outside of what you'd expect from a board in that price range.
