How are the newer releases from SUNFLY in terms of sound and graphic quality ?
How would you rate them
Consistent performer and one of the Better manus
Tracks are Hit or Miss
One of the Worst

Thanks - I saw some titles and was wondering

ps - I saw that Karaoke dot com had some older discs ( not Sunfly) for $2.88 each if you need to fill some holes or replace some titles

I don't care for them as a rule, but the few of the newer tracks that I have bought haven't been too bad overall. Music is acceptable & graphics are fine.

Oldest discs have bad two line graphics at the bottom of the screen. Yellow font, blue background, green wipe. (Although some have been remastered with new graphics). Middle of the range discs switched to a larger font filling the screen, yellow font, black background. Current discs have very nice graphics, blue font, black background, but they are always screen of lyrics, then clear, then screen of lyrics. If the song is very fast you need to know the next line because it may not be displayed in time to read it, by contrast Chartbuster uses the line by line wipe method. If using scratched discs the screen clear method is better since the errors don't accumulate. Sunfly rap songs generally have too much backing vocal.

I like them enough to buy them every month.

The quality of their monthly releases are very good imo. This month though, they released a disc with the songs in the wrong order to how they were listed, it caught me out on Saturday night. I'll forgive them for that though, it can happen and there are far bigger companies making far worse oversights in this world!

Their older stuff is a bit hit & miss, but whenever anyone knows enough to ask for a particular version, they always ask for sunfly so I guess they must still be the #1 manu here.

I've trained most of my customers to ask for other versions. . . Sunfly tend to be the most reconised brand over here because they were one of the first.

Most of my customers ask for Zoom or Mr Entertainer.

There versions aren't too bad (obviously their are some gems and some rubbish) but you won't go to far wrong with them.
