Which computer base system is best for karaoke? Mac or Windows?
As a teacher, I use both at school and from time to time have had problems with Windows not working like it should when it comes to presentations, where my OLD first generation ibook has NEVER let me down.
Do things like CDGFix, Compuhost, Music Book Deluxe work on Macs? What disadvantages would I need to consider with Mac vs. Windows?

You are very limited as to hosting software, I can only think of one (KJams), when it comes to MAC. CompuHost will not run on macs.

I believe you can get Bootcamp for Mac & run Windows, then supposedly the hosting programs would work. I have heard of Mac users using this setup.
