What's the funniest thing you've ever seen at a karaoke show? This can be anything something someone did, said, whatever.

Dave was stting at the bar watching country music videos. Of course they had the sound turned down.. He was pretty well toasted and he got pissed because they didnt have the words on that TV.
Another time he was in the process of calling somebody out when the KJ called his name.. He said you stay there Ill be right back and went up and sang his song.

I don't know if it's "the funniest ever", but just saturday matter of fact...
A guy whom I have only seen recently at this place got up to sing- oh geez, I'm brain dead and can't recall what the song was, but it was a suggestive title- and his zipper was undone.
It nearly was the undoing of me and my sister when we connected the downed zipper to what song he was singing. Most of the crowd- though it wasn't huge- had seen it.
But, I did sneak over to the KJ guy and ask him to please inform the singer... I sure wasn't going to:)
(gosh, not nearly as funny in the telling, esp. since I can't recall the damm song)

That's funny Ollie. A few years ago, I had some friends over. The guy had never done karaoke and never hung out at karaoke bars, but once he was sauced he was rearing to go and picked out a song. Long story short, he went up and tried to figure out how/where to put the quarter in my karaoke machine.... we sat and laughed and didn't clue him in for a minute or two.

Yikes, that calls for a disclaimer of sorts. "though it wasn't huge"... the crowd I mean, not the uh, you know:)

I had a guy, about 40 years old, on halloween one year wearing a pimp costume get up to do "Baby Got Back." About halfway through the song, he decided that he should do a split. He pulled off a pretty good split, then came right back up to continue the song.
I looked over, and lo and behold, he had split the crotch of his outfit wide open, and with no underwear on, he had his "little pimp" flopping out.
I tried to make a few subtle references over the mic to let him know, but he didn't get what I was saying. Half the crowd did, however. They started going crazy, clapping and cat-calling as loud as they could, and the singer still didn't get it. He though they just REALLY liked his song, and he started dancing more.
Finally, with about a minute left in the song, he figured it out. He turned bright red and turned around to try to fix the problem. The best part about it was that he stayed on stage and actually FINISHED THE SONG without missing a single lyric.
Loudest applause I have ever heard following a karaoke performance!!

Over Christmas in Florida, we had an 80-year-old lady get up and do the Pussycat Song.

OMG, Toqer , those are funny.
#3 is killer... after bashing into the monitor, he very successfully takes over the song.
Those are pretty good:)

That was very funny. Why did you let him go so long?
