Had my regular show last night at my little ol' restaurant/bar and it turned into a huge night to remember. I had 45 different singers during the night with the rotation actually reaching 33 at one point. The place allows families and children to stay until 9 (we start at 7), and I had 18 people in rotation by 7:15. Everyone had a great time, including me! Actually made it completely through the rotation twice, and then back around to the 10th singer, so if my math is correct, I had 74 songs sang last night. Not too bad in my opinion. Now looking forward to next friday. There is a possibility that this same venue will be hosting one of the local Talent Quest competitions this year with me as host. Me crossing my fingers.

Was it the kid factor, a party going on, or just a good night. If just a good night, then heck yeah you should be lookin' forward to next Friday

For some reason our place has slowed down dramatically over the last couple of months. You'll get your oddball busy night, but for the most part the singer list is staying anywhere from 6-about 15. Last weekend I showed at 10 pm, and she hadn't started yet because there was only one singer prior to me. Weird night. Singer rotation is very short, which can be cool at times if you want to try out lots of new songs.

(heeyyyyy... .... maybe that's why the place is slowing down? perhaps i should quit springing new ones on them)

I'd rather see the place packed. God forbid I have to start driving out of town to karaoke. I usually just walk.

Just a fantastic night. Only had about 8 kids singing plus a couple of the parents. Overall, was outstanding, and to top that off, some of my regulars weren't even there,. Yep, now looking forward to this Friday! WOOT WOOT!

Congrats! I have found that it starts to work against you over about 25. The rotation gets so long that people start getting frustrated and think you are skipping/snubbing them...even though you aren't.

Another "HOLY CRAP" night. Same place, but on a Friday night. Had 50 different singers last night. Packed to the walls with people dancing and having fun. I agree that when the rotation gets too long, it's a big "grrrr" for some singers. I just wish the karaoke gods would send me that many people, but only 12 singers,, hehe-yeah,,that'll happen! NOT! Anyways, I am soooo tired from last night, I actually got home last night, and NEVER made it to my bedroom! Landed on the couch, and "lights out". Again, looking forward to next week, a large group of people that were there last night who hadn't been there before, said they would be back next week with even more people. OH NO< LOOK OUT!

Hey Mr.Scott I had one of those WOW nights last night, too - only 22 singers but a HUGE jump from when we started a few weeks ago - I'll post pics later today. Haven't uploaded them up. Double-edged sword - they each sang 3 times and some 4 (after some left early). It's great..haven't had to juggle a big rotation for a while.
