I use two Bose L1 compact for audience’s 100-150 people and an additional Bose L1 M2 with 2 subs for a larger venue.
I also have one Laptop and a dj case that has Hdd Media player, compact dvd player, Mackie DFX-6 mixer, effect, 2 Audix Rad 360 wireless mic, audio/video switcher and one lcd TV and/or projector.
My set up is also less than 15 minutes as mroctober.
I can haul all my gears in my little Honda Civic easily.

This is The best set up by far. 1)Two BOSE L-1's and 2 BOSE Bass bottum's, can do small room's up to room for couple thousand. 2)Mackie 1202-Vlz Pro, Tank of a Mixer 3)Rolands VF-1 Effect's , takes 1/2 rack, best effect''s bar none. 4)VocoPro UF-5800 wireless rechargables.cheap but good. 5) Dell Laptop Duo Core with Comp-U-Host. Set up around 15 to 20 minutes, tear down 15. All fit,s in a mini-cooper, no more back aches and kick (@$%!) sound.

I finally got to use my 5 by 8 cargo trailer last weekend that I bought in October for 875. It is an 06 model and is in almost perfect condition.
I bring this up because I had a booth at an expo Sunday and vs trying to stuff everything in an SUV it was a snap, much easier on my back and no more hauling stuff in my house once back home! No matter what I have for equipment, I've just cut my handling nearly in half as I do bring a few things in ie my laptops.

Dont underestimate the Mackie SRM 350 v2.
Need more volume... double up.
I run them with an EV SB122 for thunder lows. Never needed both EV's.
They are all embarisingly small and light.
The sound at volume is awesome.
Having the SRM 450's I used to think I would have to fall back on them.
Never so far.
Yes you can get better sound but you may be the only one who can tell.
The audience wont know.

Oh... Please say good bye to my avatar Saphie.
She died recently at a good old age.
She had a good life and knew she was loved.

Sorry to hear that Jerry. A dog can absolutely become one of the family and the loss can be very hard.
