I use a Midiverb 4 and love it. Yeah it's old but sounds great and they are cheap.

I use a Midiverb 3 - even older & still works great for a 16 bit processor, but have owned/used the Microverb 4 for a short time. It's a little noisy. Avgs about $159 new, if you can put up a little more for at least a Lexicon MX200, you'll be much happier. Even a used Lexicon MPX100 or MPX110 (have seen on ebay for $50-100)will give a much better result for effects over the Microverb 4.

Yeah, I am craigslist shopping for an upgrade to the onboard effects on my Yamaha MG16/6FX. This MicroVerb unit was $75.00. If it is a bit noisy, I will probably pass, as I have seen plenty of better units (Digitech Studio S200, Lexicon MPX100/MPX500) for $100.00, and will be able to get one of those guys to accept $75.00.
Thanks for the input!!
