hi i'm al ( polyal )
i am new to karaoke and have joined this forum to help me
set up a karaoke system on my pc .. i'm hoping some of you
pros can give me some pointers..some of my questions will seem really
stupid but please bear with me...i am a complete novice on this subject
i am into computers thou as i build and setup advanced
sound systems on pc's
i want a karaoke setup just for family purposes ( weddings parties etc )
its the software side i need to sort out

basically what i want to do is find a track quickly and play it with the
lyrics on the display

so far i have 6000 mp3's ( back tracks ) and associated cdg files ( lyrics?) and winamp

so whats next

any info/links etc would be gratefully appreciated

Karafun is not a hoster and can not locate tracks fast enough. What he wants is a program that has a database that he can search through to find his song in just a click of a couple of buttons. My suggestion is JustKaraoke as it will do this and is cheap enough for a novice to use.
