If this helps get Hotel California off every Karaoke Shows, I'm all for it. Might I also add that B52s follow this precedent and take off Love Shack, Writers of Grease with Summer Lovin, and Meatloaf with PBTDBL etc.

True but..... how many people get drunk and cut their first karaoke chops on something like Summer Nights or Love Shack because their friend dragged them up to do it?

There is nothing stopping any KJ from deleting songs from their data base. If you don't like hearing a song at your show; don't list it.........Hey!!!! I've got a great idea for KJ's....Assign a $50 Bounty on all of the songs that you're tired of hearing and list them in the front of your book. If someone wants to sing Paradise By The Dashboard Light, for example, they have to pay the KJ fifty bucks for the privilege. I doubt that you'd see the same folks putting up that song on a regular basis.....especially the water sippers.
