I recently started moving my Karaoke CD's to my laptop and using the Power Karaoke software. PK catalogs the song based on the mp3 tags for the artist and title. I have a set of Supercore 2007 hits songs on disk that when I rip them to hard drive none of the mp3 tags are in the file. Other brands Like All Hits come over fine when ripped. I am using the PK CD+G Burner to rip to hard drive. So my question is this... Does anyone make a software package that can Identify the mp3 and restore the tags, or do I have to do this manually with tag editing software?

Thanks,
Flanman

No CD+G (or standard CD for that matter) will have embedded MP3 tags...as they aren't MP3's. Your ripping software must either have a database to draw upon (like Invicion's CDGRip), or reach out to CDDB, allmediaguide, freedb, etc for info (like dbpoweramp does).

Database might not be able to identify every single disc from every company.

Easiest thing to do would be to name them manually while ripping, you have the disc case in front of you with the track listing right there.
