Went to vegas where i consider vegas should set the entertainment bar. i found it interesting that in some of the many places for karaoke that that bar falls under expectations. is it just me but shouldnt it be something more there?

So Very True!! Vegas has, unfortunately become it's own worst, commercialized enemy............. they set Expectations so High, and then you arrive to find 'cookie cutter' entertainment, just my opinion after living close by and going there at least once a month for over a year now, and we all know what they say about "O"pinions!! The most often used term in and around the area anymore is Klownioke........... Peace, S.

And Great idea.......... if I can add to it.................. Where would you say, aside from your own show, was the most enjoyable Karaoke you've personally attended?

Guys my wife is a hardcore karaoke nut, but when we went there for our honeymoon how much karaoke was on the agenda? If you guessed none, you got it. All those professional shows are a bit much to compete with. Now if we lived there year round, that would be a horse of a different color.

We did venture off the strip to catch the Ratpack show at the Greek Isles casino. It wasn't bad and I heard something once about them having karaoke there. Debbie Reynolds used to own the place and the casino itself isn't anything much by today's standards, but that stage would be an amazing place for karaoke.

There are two primary Karaoke shops there, and the good one is on West Charlston..

They carry a Lounge paper, that lists most of the venues available.

Many clubs sing 7 nights, but all of the clubs are listed..

The clubs that are doing well, will have an ad..

(The second Karaoke shop is primarily Filipino based.. Inkjet printed)

Back in the day, you could sing to a live band at The House of Blues.. Not sure if that's still available..
