Hey folks, been a long time since I've been on here, got a number of messages from folks asking where I was or checking to see if I had quit hosting Karaoke. I'm still here, still doing the Karaoke thing, although I'll admit my focus has really been on working with bands lately. I've quit all my weekly karaoke shows and just do fill-ins or one-offs at a couple bars that just call me when they need. I'm exclusive FOH engineer for two bands right now, and that's proven to be a lot more fun and enjoyable for me (just mixed a 5,000 seat venue at the world's largest music festival last week).

I've not been active here lately simply because I haven't found my involvement to be enjoyable lately. I still pop in and read from time to time, but I'm more of a lurker now.

Letitrip Tony! Glad you popped back in. I think you've been away longer than i have. I occasionally drop by here to learn more techie stuff from you, Lonnie, Topher, or Micky, or to ask what's going on with new music.

Overkill discussions on the legality issues and 1 particular poster that dominated every thread and is extremely long-winded kinda put me off for a spell...but oh well. Happy you're still around dude!
