Long time lurker, first time poster. I'm from Louisiana. I've been "pseudo KJ'ing" for a few years now. My mom and step-dad run their own karaoke biz, and I'd sub for them when they'd go on a trip, get sick, or just not feel like doing it. I recently went out and bought my own set up because I am branching out on my own. I have a Peavey XR 8600 combo amp/mixer, 2 Peavey PR12's, 3 Shure PG58's, and I run it all from my Dell Inspiron 1564. Most of the places I KJ at are relatively small so I don't need too much sound, at least for now. I decided to join because I'm always looking to learn something new and share what I already know if it helps someone out.
