Because of their methods as stated ad nauseum in other threads. It's extortion because it seems the only criteria they have of naming a defendant is the fact that they've played a SC song. Once you're named, you're either required to submit to an audit completely on their terms, including signing their absurd "contract", one item of which is admitting guilt, or they will sue you.
If you refuse, it's going to cost you time and money in court. If you submit, you are admitting guilt and again losing time and possibly money. How is that not extortion?
I won't go into it further as it has already been beaten to death. Either you understand or you don't and you are entitled to disagree with me, even if you are wrong. (
