Hi
Is there anything you can buy that can limit the output from the amplifier in to your speakers.
for example i have speakers that are 250 watt continuous but an amplifier the puts out 450 watt per channel, so clearly don't want to fry them by overloading them, is there a solution.

Actually if the speaker accepts 250w continuous, that means 500w program. That matches your 450w/channel almost perfectly.

Your amp should be fine for those speakers. Which model are the speakers & amp? Usually you want to try to match the amp to the speakers PROGRAM power rating. In this case, the speaker is most likely rated 250 RMS(Continuous)/500 PROGRAM/1000 PEAK.
