Hi all,
I just bought Acesonic KM-360. I hook my wire/wireless microphone to the VOA jack and my music to the digital input jack.

My music sounds OK. Although my voice does not sound good at default setting.

I try other settings but it does not help much.

So I think either this unit does not produce a good sound for voice or I do not know how to setup them up correctly.

All I did before is just plug and play with little ajdustment since my old dvd RJTech karaoke does it all.

I would like to know if anyone has any experience with this unit or can give me basic setup for this unit.

This unit does have echo delay L/R, reverb time/level, echo level/repeat. and 5 bands EQ.

There is a separate adjustment for music but I do think I need to adjust them since my music is ripped directly from my dvd karaoke and all video/music are played from my computer. The music is OK. No problem.

Attached is the software for controlling Acesonic KM-360 from PC using serial cable.

Thanks for any comment

Not the best unit in the world, but you should be able to get acceptable vocals out of it.

Try to do this with the microphone EQ up in the upper left corner:

First slider: cut (push down) about 1/2 way below 0
Second slider: cut about 1/4 way below 0
Third slider: boost about 1/4 way above 0
Fourth slider: boost about 1/2 way above 0
Fifth slider: boost about 1/4 way above zero

That should sound better, but you may have to tweak a little from there. Just remember that vocals mainly fall in to the MID ranges, so you are going to want to cut the lows, boost the mids, then tweak the highs so that it isn't shrill. It all depends on your voice, but that's the basic idea.
