God I love the internet, software mixing, and VNC. All 3 of you are AWESOME.

I had joked with my business partner in the production company about doing this now that we've got our pro-tools rig going in the studio. Told him we could take it out live and I could mix from home. Unfortunately with a band and having as many as 20-30 cues per song, I think the latency would be an issue.

From the Karaoke side I can see how it would work, but it certainly wouldn't fit my business model. My skills as a host are part of my selling points so running an absentee show just wouldn't fly. Cool for you though and definitely an awesome demonstration of the capabilities of today's technology.
