I sang it Friday night. This song (the live version) is the song that started my "karaoke career". I won a contest with it. I sing it a couple of times a month and I always use it to start a new venue.

I do Picture by myself sometimes during set up so I can say it's already been sung!

It's rare to get Bob Seger at my show (probably because he doesn't live around here lol) but Turn The Page was just sung a few weeks ago. Before that it was probably a six months gap. A lot of people are scared to sing Seger because he's got quite a range.

I like to do Still The Same myself because it's got an upbeat tempo.

Seger is from here in Michigan, and people here just loooooooooooooooove him. Go to a show here and you're almost 100% guaranteed to hear it. I like him, but I don't love him (I'm from Massachusetts and the Live Bullet album was out before I was born).

Same with Kid Rock -- people here go bat$h!t over all his songs because he's from Michigan. I don't like his music at all, but "All Summer Long" references this area and he came here about 6 weeks ago to shoot his most recent video, so I can't knock him too much. :)

Mike, on one of his live albums, doesn't he say, "Detroit Michigan, the home of rock and roll!" Understandable that he's got some big fans there! I would love to hear him in concert. kjbob comments that his songs are tough because of his range. I notice also that it's hard to make the song sound as good as Seger. If I sing a song like Katmandu (still wish the live version were available on karaoke) it still sounds a little short, but when Seger sings it it sounds awesome.

"K-k-k-k-k-k-katmanduuuuuuu! Goodnight everybody!"

lol I've actually been requested to sing it a number of times. You can just see the look on people's face when the realized I'm up there alone and there's anticipation to see what happens when Sheryl's part comes up!

Saturday I had Turn the page, Paradise by the Dash Board Lights, Aqua Lung, Free Bird, Friends in Low Places (the long version) and Taxi sung. Let's just say I smoked a lot that night.
