The Kristal is still working for me...I can record both mic and line-in at the SAME time on Kristal...then I bring 'em over to Audacity and can edit them...I'm praying this really works this time.
Do you think it's because I'm recording and playing back using different software?
Anyway, gotta go to a pesky class now but will be back on trying to sub something.

To be honest, there's no telling. Could just be the default settings for Audacity don't jive with your setup where some of these others mesh well.
BTW, I'll be offline for a couple days this weekend - moving from Fairbanks to Anchorage (about 400 miles), and trying to get over a nasty head cold. I'd sub something but after 2 gigs w/ low turnout (end of season is always like that) and I had to sing lots my voice is pretty shot for now. I'll try to sub something later next week - and make up for it by doing whatever genre we have that week and an RnB tune.
