....is the 500+ Worship/Praise karaoke tracks they produced. Do they really get requested anywhere? I am considering contacting some local churches or even some back home in Texas to see if they want all the discs I have.

Chris, I might be interested. I do a number of shows at senior centers and
they love to sing worship/praise songs.

You really think so?
If they sold then they didn't lose a thing as most of them were probably public domain so no permissions or licensing was needed saving them tons of money.

From their standpoint, that is a project in which time is not of the essence (unlike monthly releases). It is something that they can work on in their spare time, plus the music (I don't think) is as expensive to produce as today's music - not just in terms of licensing, but the number of musician's as well. I am under the impression that the music is pretty much "plain" compared to all the "frills" today's pop music has.

And where exactly does this "confession" come from Chris?

You state it as a fact and I'd like to see that substantiated....

I'm sure that not bothering to respond to the lawsuit against them by CAVS and the ensuing approx $200,000.00 judgment against them wasn't a motivating factor at all...

Bright blessings whilst' you belt out the praise....

When I was a young boy, I used to go fishing with a friend and his family. Those fishing trips were grand affairs. We would find a prime spot on the lake, near a picnic table and a grill. We would play frisbee, fly kites, and cook out on the grill. But by and far, my favorite thing to do was fish.

At the end of one particularly long and fun day of fishing, it was getting dark so we made our final casts and let the bobbers sit while we packed up. We packed up our worms and corn and fish eggs, sorted out our tackle-boxes and then reeled in.

As we walked up the dock toward shore, my friends line was hanging out over the water. Suddenly, a fish jumped out of the water, took the hook and squirmed for life. There was no bait on it. He wasn't trying to catch anything.

When we asked my friends grandfather why the fish did that, his reply was, "Fish are stupid."

(fish) ---> }-(((*> :withstupid:

I probably should have been a little more clear that I was being tongue in cheek with my OP. I somethimes think people know me better than they actually do. Next time I will make sure the requisite TLA's and emoticons are in place. :twisted:

ps....there is a reason why I did not post this in the Legalities forum......so legal issues would not be part of the discussion.

Thought I read on this forum that CB replaced a lot of their CDGs with SD cards. Would've thought they shot themselves in the foot on that one.
