However, as a host who does as much DJ as karaoke, I want a hybrid that will make the switchover quickly from one or the other smoothly. Don't know of a program out there that does that. Give me that, and I'm there! Tough to switch over from VDJ to compuhost and vice versa smoothly. I use VDJ and Siglos Karaoke Pro and I can seamlessly go from one program to the other. I set up both programs and when I want to use VDJ all I need to do is activate the video out on VDJ. This will automatically switch the video to VDJ. When I want to go back to karaoke, I just deactivate the video out on VDJ and the monitor switches to Siglos Karaoke Pro. Much like Lonman, I too did not like compuhost because it couldn't play all of the different formats. I selected Siglos Karaoke Pro because it did play all the formats AND it does everything that compuhost just recently added. I'm not knocking compuhost, but at the time I wanted more features, that's why I personally selected to buy Siglos Karaoke Pro. I have not regretted it and have not looked back. Plus the great support was a pleasant bonus! Seamlessly? I would suppose our definitions are different. If you can beatmix or fade in and out from karaoke to DJ and vice versa, I take my hat off to you. I want it all in one program. I use compuhost and VDJ. But I wouldn't say it is seamlessly. When I DJ, I am very particular, I want no stoppages, herky jerky transitions, long silences (or short ones even). I hate going back and forth. Each program is great for what it is intended, that's why I use the two of them, they are both the best in my opinion. But I want an all in one program. Rip, if you are doing a lot of DJing, you should really consider getting a controller for VDJ. Even with VDJ minimized, and compuhost active, you can still control VDJ with it. I switch back and forth between the two programs seamlessly... It does require a bit to trickery to do this BUT one of the neat side effects is you can listen to a song on VDJ in your headphones while playing a karaoke song on Compuhost. Ever have a singer want to listen to a song before they sing it? Now you can! But more importantly you can really get into some fun DJ tricks... back spin, manually beat mixing, drops and so forth... not only does it make your show pop, but come on!! this is fun stuff! http://www.guitarcenter.com/Denon-DN-MC ... 1629688.gc

Hi everyone,
I am wondering if you know if the Compuhost Software, I have purchased, can record into the cog ripping software a (Super CD+G Karaoke Music)?
Does is upload any type of karaoke music formats?
Needing to know, before I purchase some Super CDG's,

Clueless The hosting program will play off a supercdg, not sure how they got cavs to let them add this feature, using a separate media player.

Not going to spend that much money for that. My friend has it, he does a lot of karaoke too. Problem is, he doesn't have the karaoke effects that I have on my Yamaha. He beatmixes w/the headphones and every song is matched pefectly. I can get pretty close w/o. I do have headphones but rarely use them. Sooner or later, compuhost will get it. I may get the upgrade just to get the player.
