I will be taking a road trip on the week after Thanksgiving. I haven't decided which day I will start my trip (Mon., Tues., or Wed. (at the latest)). I am headed from NY to Hallandale, Florida (to gather up some stuff from my Mother's Apartment (since she will no longer be living there, and will remain in NY)). Anyway, I will be on the road for 4 days (that's my Round Trip travel time). I plan to spend 1 day in Hallandale before heading back to NY.

While driving back to NY, I might be willing to spend an extra day or 2 on the road (and find local lodging for those nights), if I can find a place to go for Karaoke in Georgia and or South Carolina. These places would have to be near I-95 (as I plan to stay on 95 for the major portions of my drive).

Anyone have any suggestions?

Cue,
it's been awhile since i've been to the mainland but...

In Myrtle Beach SC at Broadway On The Beach shopping mecca, we used to go to a huge karaoke bar with 6 giant projection
screens and a complete stage setup with a costume/props changing room on the stage. Can't remember the name though, but
it was the only place that had karaoke, and was across from Johnny Rockets diner. They also recorded your performance on
vhs for like $15.

Isn't Harryoke still in florida? Maybe you can check his show out. :)

Like said, Broadway at the beach has a few good shows at a few places several days a week. There are many places around Myrtle Beach itself, that have karaoke 7 days a week. Broadway at the Beach is a pretty cool place, even if you're not looking for karaoke.......good luck, buddy

I may try to check Harry out (since I've hooked up with him at this time of the year in the past). I'm just looking at the possibility of South Carolina and/or Georgia because I've never sung in those states, and that will be my halfway point to stop and rest while headed back home to NY. I just don't want to get too far off of 95, since I'm going to be driving for 4 full days (for the purpose of my intended trip from and back to NY).

Cue, nothing is really on 95 in SC except 95. Florence would be the closet chance but you'd have to detour to Columbia to have a shot at a decent karaoke show. I used to travel that route almost weekly in a prior career.
